Natural dye is the process of using plants, bugs, barks, other natural elements to color fabric. After moving to Wyoming & learning about alternatives to synthetic fabrics for winter negative temperatures, I became fascinated with healthier more holistic clothing systems. That led me to an eco-printing class- which is the process of steaming or hammering real flowers into fabric in Topanga, CA. From there, I invested in a natural dye set-up of my own. These photos are a result of lots of experimentation.
